Julio, our National Director for High Road Restaurants has 10 years of experience in community development; 4 years of which consisted of working with restaurants and small businesses in Chicago. Julio has 8 years of experience in the service industry primarily in the counter service restaurant sector.
In his 4 years working with restaurants, Julio was able to help streamline communication between the Department of Public Health and Business Affairs in Chicago, increase public safety with the community and restaurant owners, raising capital to help restaurant owners purchase their own property, and increasing access to beautification resources along the business corridor.
Julio received his MPA from Baruch College, CUNY through the National Urban Fellow Program. He currently resides in DC but was born and raised in Chicago.
