Jeanie is the National Engagement Director for RAISE: High Road Restaurants. She likes to tell people she was born into the restaurant industry because her mother was bartending the day before she was born. Her parents and grandparents owned Chinese restaurants on the east coast and she has been in the industry her entire life. jeanie has spent the last 20 years working in and managing some of the best restaurants in Seattle including Campagne, Canlis, and The Corson Building. Most recently, she was the Director of Operations and Community Engagement for Sea Creatures – Renee Erickson’s restaurant group. In response to COVID, jeanie co-founded Seattle Restaurants United, a coalition of over 200 restaurants advocating for support during the pandemic. She is the co-chair of the policy committee for the Independent Restaurant Coalition and helped pen the RESTAURANTS Act of 2020. jeanie believes that the restaurant community defines our culture and is committed to building an industry that ensures equity and dignity for all.
