Communicate When Eating Out

You are here: Home / Communicate When Eating Out

Communicate Every Time You Eat Out

When you eat out, please: 1) show your appreciation to the tipped workers serving you; and 2) communicate the need for One Fair Wage to managers and owners of the restaurant.

Communicating With Your Server:

Whether you eat out or order food from a restaurant, you can either print out this card and hand it to your server during or at the end of your meal, or give it to the person delivering your food. Alternatively, you can just tell your server or food delivery person what’s on the card and show them the QR code for them to capture on their phone. The QR code will send them to a website – Weloveourtips.com – that helps them get access to information and support from organizers, attorneys, and their peers.

Communicating With the Manager and Owner:

If you eat out, you can either print out this card and hand it to the manager or owner at the end of your meal, or you can send a tweet to the manager or owner. (Click here for a printable full page of cards)  If you order food from a restaurant, please tweet the manager or owner.
